Many of you know by now that in early February our good friend Tom Christo passed away after a valiant fight to recover from an aneurysm.
Tom was a real renaissance man with many talents, abilities and compassion. Many words come to mind when I think about Tom and his accomplishments: entrepreneur, deal maker, politician, sports fan, mentor, futurist, realist, humorist and humanitarian. Some of us came to knew him as a formidable litigator who used his colorful communication skills to advocate on behalf of his clients and convey complex ideas in a simple and straight-forward manner. Others knew him as a CEO who led his companies with distinction. Most of us knew him as a friend who was ready to help anyone in need, and to offer advice and support.
His family knew him as a loving husband, father, and uncle – someone who brightened the room with his smile, laughter and warmth.
It was sad to learn of his demise just as he approached this 60th birthday. It is sad to think about the loss now felt by those who he left behind, and how hard it will be for them to feel that unfillable void.
I would like to dedicate this page to celebrate our collective memories about Tom. I encourage you to post your stories and anecdotes about how Tom touched you in your personal and working lives. It is fitting that we share our thoughts of Tom given that Tom shared so much with each one of us.
